Hi, I’m Claire

I grew up in Adelaide and moved to Sydney in 2020 to teach in primary schools. With over ten years experience in education, I have seen how powerful one-to-one support can be for children who need extra time, clarity, and confidence to thrive.

As both a teacher and tutor, I specialise in supporting children who struggle with confidence, learning difficulties, or feeling left behind. This work is personal to me, as I also needed learning explained slowly and with patience as a child. This shapes my calm, supportive approach, where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace.

In 2023, I became a certified Yoga Instructor and began working in schools and studios across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, which led me to support many families seeking both academic and emotional support for their children.

I currently teach yoga in primary schools, delivering programs for both upper and lower primary students as part of their PDHPE curriculum. I also run wellbeing sessions for staff meetings and school wellbeing weeks, and facilitate a weekly extra-curricular yoga program every Wednesday at an Eastern Suburbs school. Through this work, I support children’s physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, and see firsthand how movement, mindfulness, and regulation enhance confidence, focus, and learning.

Through Confidence to Grow, my goal is to help every child feel capable, supported, and proud of their progress, in the classroom and beyond.

Values

Resilience

Children develop resilience when they feel supported through challenges, not pushed through them. I help children learn that mistakes are part of learning and that effort, patience, and trying again lead to growth. Through gentle guidance and encouragement, they build the skills to manage frustration, bounce back from setbacks, and keep going with confidence.

Confidence

Confidence grows when children feel safe to try, make mistakes, and be themselves. I create a calm, encouraging environment where learning is broken into manageable steps, helping children build self-belief and trust in their own abilities.

Growth

Every child progresses at their own pace. Through personalised one-to-one support, I celebrate effort, curiosity, and small wins along the way, helping children develop skills, confidence, and a love of learning that lasts.
